Onera Wimberley

Opened September 2024

Onera Wimberley is the second offering from Onera. After experimenting at their Fredericksburg site, Onera elected to focus this location on Artistree's signature Spyglass™ treehouse, due to its higher occupancy and rates than their other units. Artistree designed this 19-acre site to offer guests a nature retreat, while being close to shared amenities. Artistree's expertise in developing sites that highlight the natural beauty allows Onera Wimberly to provide couples with the perfect place for a romantic getaway and still be an amazing destination for a group event like a wedding. Each element and structure spotlights the Texas Hill Country.

Artistree's work includes:

Master Planning

Site layout, unit placement within landscape, circulation of pathways and roads to minimize impact on wildlife and vegetation, user-experience across units and communal gathering spaces, back-of-house planning including on-site staff residences, worked directly with civil engineer to ensure utilities were channel through existing corridors of disturbance and construction boundaries were established

Entitlement and permitting

Submission of permit drawings for each structure, coordination with Hays County Fire Marshall to ensure compliance
